This pillow was designed and woven by Zahra who belongs to the weaving association in Anzal. Woven with 100% live sheep’s wool, the colors were created with natural vegetables and spice blends - ingredients like henna, pomegranate skin, and beets.

This Flatweave technique is a living testament to the powerful history of this village. In Anzal the weaving tradition is nurtured by the woman passing the skills down from generation to generation.

Each pillow is one-of-a-kind. They're all inspired by, or made from, a textile that was woven in the village.
